I’m always running into keywords that Google won’t give a chance. I normally don’t waste much time with them and try to find other niche keywords and phrases… OR I take that keyword and tear it a part (misspellings, etc).
Sometimes depending on the keyword there is a lot of competition for that keyword… maybe Google has some sort of maximum that it will allow in one keyword market (someone else might be able to answer that better than me)… which is probably just as well because it would be tough to try and get on top of a pile of 50 or 100 other affiliates bidding for that same keyword.
So my first guess is that you need to research some other keywords and keyword phrases. Study your competition. There is a learning curve. I am just starting out, so I have many campaigns I need to set up until I finally find some profitable ones… Heck, I am still learning how to build landing pages.
Hi Tovi!
How are you? Great going with all this website stuff up already, and still figuring it out! My website is an affiliate site that was already set up. I’m also studying lots of internet stuff-Frank Kern’s Mass Control, and Ken McCarthy stuff. I really recommend his stuff from what I’ve seen so far. Just go to System Seminar-www.thesystemseminar.com and see info on it, and all the free stuff at thesystemblog.com
Too bad I’m not an affiliate, but lots of good free stuff there, and learning alot from Ken.
I also found the Adwords for Dummies book by Howie Jacobson really full of great stuff. This site is a great idea, and I’m very interested in setting one up.
