Just a little blurb about buying on impulse and desperation. I was there in the beginning and have lost a bit of money in the process. Although, this has been a great learning experience and I have met a lot of great people.
My Beginning
I got started a couple years ago when one night
I decided to Google “make money online”. I was working as a brake and alignment technician for this independent tire company based out of Prineville, Oregon. I had been there three years and I was worn out. I was at the bottom of the barrel and always was the one to stay late to finish up the vehicles that weren’t done yet while the other guys left as to not get overtime. I will not get into the politics of that here, it has no bearing. Well one night, like I said, I went online in search of something more that would help me out of the ‘rat race’. I was doing the ‘80/20 rule’ backwards. I was working 80 percent of the time and receiving 20 percent in return. Along my surfing journey, I found so many programs offering the world and bought into most of them. I did not know any better back then, I was just looking for a way to get out of the day to day waste I was living. I know many people now are reading this and saying that is me now. My buying impulses were based off of the emotional stress of getting out of the “living paycheck to paycheck” lifestyle. I wanted the fancy car, large home, ability to work in my pajamas image that all these “gurus” offered with their products. Never going to happen that way, I learned thousands of dollars later. That is why finding a mentor from the beginning is the best start.
Making Buying Decisions On Feelings
Feelings and emotions are one of the most powerful influences we have. Think back for a minute and try to think of anything that you have purchased where your emotions have not played a major part in the decision process. We use our emotions to visualize ourselves benefiting from the purchase of a particular product or service. Without these feelings, I think, the human being will be incapable of making any decision.
That is how these ‘gurus’ promising thousands within 30 days were able to make a ton of money. Using that emotion of human beings to make them pull out their wallats. So when people are surfing the net for that golden goose to help them out of the lifestyle that hordes them down, the decisions that are made are from desperation and the need to solve their problems.
