Here is my mini google lesson for the day! I a
m all googled out due to my recent knowledge of Simon Leungs new ‘Death of Google Adwords’ report launching tomorrow… cleverly launching on Halloween, spooooky. Actually, I have the honor of personally knowing him and learning first hand the back-end of Google. Next week I will be attending his workshop down in San Jose, Ca (my home town!)… I am excited to grab as much content as possible and pass it on here. Hopefully I can do it in a timely manner, I know I can be LAZY. Well on with it…
Whats Important?
Highly targeted traffic is one of the most important entities in the Internet universe. Any website owner or administrator recognizes the importance of driving traffic to a website. The success of any website does not rely entirely on the site itself. You may have a terrific idea for a website, offer an excellent product or service, or have an exceptionally designed site with superb content, but if you do not use the right strategies to advertise, your site would not attract the high traffic you need. Attracting targeted traffic is a task that should be taken seriously for any site to succeed or make a profit. Fortunately, there are internet-marketing tools that help us marketers to drive traffic to our websites. One of the most significant, and effective, of these tools is Google’s Adwords.
How does Google Adwords work?
Google is the largest search engine on the web receiving over 200 million queries each day through its various services. As Google is the most popular search engine today, people are keen on having their websites achieve a higher ranking in the search engine results it provides. A high ranking can mean high traffic for that website. The search engine results page is also a great venue for advertisers to promote a product or service through ads and links. Consequently, Google launched its Adwords service, as a way for businesses to advertise products and services to a targeted audience. Google Adwords can guarantee instant traffic. In this service, Google displays relevant text based ads within its search engine results page termed as “Sponsored Links”. Whenever a particular keyword is searched on, these relevant links appear in a separate section giving excellent exposure to the sites listed.
How do you use Google Adwords?
First, you have to open an account with the Google Adwords Service. Then, you should indicate your target language and country. This is important because you would not want your products advertised in countries where your product or service cannot be sold. Afterwards, you should now create an ad group. This involves designing the ad, selecting keywords and determining maximum cost per click that you are willing to spend and defining bid amounts. The most important step in creating a successful Adwords campaign is selecting an effective title tag that will catch the attention of your target audience. The title tag, generally a short phrase, is the most important part of your Adwords campaign so make sure that it is attractive and catchy. You should describe the website clearly and accurately. The most effective advertising conveys a clear message to the target audience. With a clear message, you will be attracting qualified leads, which can eventually convert to sale. Thus, the importance of selecting the right keywords cannot be overemphasized. Hence, all those products and services that target that specific situation.
Keyword Variations
There are keyword variations you can adapt to reach more prospects. Using these varieties, misspellings and derivatives can help increase the chance of your ads being served. Broad match is targeting keywords in a loosely defined manner. Here, the ads appear based on the keywords that have been queried by other users as opposed to exact match, which calls for the keyword to match the query exactly. Meanwhile, a keyword phrase set to phrase match will only appear when the exact phrase is searched on. A negative keyword is helpful in filtering unrelated pages.
After you have decided on what title tag to use in your ad, you must now define a budget in order to maximize exposure. Google Adwords recommend a daily budget for each campaign. However, you should determine a budget that is suitable and affordable. You should also determine the maximum cost per click. Google will offer a recommended cost per click, but you do not have to stick with this. Usually, a number one position is not ideal as it can also attract unwanted traffic and useless clicks. A number two position is more preferred as it can filter useless clicks and provide traffic with a higher conversion rate.
To conclude, Google Adwords is an excellent strategy and tool in giving your site maximum exposure. Nevertheless, Google Adwords should not be your sole advertising campaign. It will definitely help you find the all-important, highly targeted traffic you need.
Don’t forget to check out that report, Death of Google Adwords, I think its going for $2 now… I got it on its test run for $1. He just nails the whole truth about google and what changes are going to be happening in the near future. If anyone does puchase this report, come back here and leave your comments. I would love to know what you think about it or if you have questions and I can pass that on to Simon.
I am very sure that everyone has been drowned in promotions for the NittyGrittyMarketing campaign done by Jermaine Griggs. After watching some of the “fancy,” customized stuff he’s doing, some people were intimidated and thought that Jermaine only catered to the “up-and-running” crowd. You see, Jermaine *is* doing some crazy stuff over there in his small piano niche -and- yes, he’s managed to do a lot of “behind-the-scenes” customizing and personalizing of tools… but he really does have the beginner’s heart. Because he knows exactly what it feels like to be just beginning. Heck, he had $70 to his name (and traded his mom cash for her debit card to register the domain name because he didn’t have a card yet). He didn’t have capital… or a silver spoon in his mouth. He started at the beginning but the key is that he got started.I will not tell you a huge hype type sales pitch but I will offer you some videos to gander at before you make that $3 decision. I am always up for further educating myself in the internet marketing industry and I am all for learning as much as I can. I did opt in for his trial offer and I am extremely impressed with his entire layout. It is so easy to read and to find what you want. The content is very easy to understand and is just awesome. He is very high energy, just like when I saw him speak and when I was able to meet him in person. I am going to offer you some videos from inside his affiliate program. I think you are able to get these videos if you are on his mailing list also. These next videos cover:
- Finding a Niche
- List Building basics
- 4 Step Sales Process- Basics: Converting more prospects into sales
- How to become a One Minute programmer
- Do you have all the Bases Covered?
- Why Customers Buy
If you can learn something from these videos and enjoy his teaching style, I would advise you to just try it out for yourself. If you don’t, then that’s cool too! J To watch the videos, just click on the screenshots below.

Have you recently decided to start making money online through a home based business or blogging? If your answer is yes, then you already know the many benefits of working at home - no traffic, flexible hours, be your own boss, no dress code - the list goes on and on. With today’s internet, more and more people are making the move to making money online with membership sites, affiliate marketing and or blogging; to name a few.
Six good reasons to start working at home
Is this the right choice for you? You already know some of the advantages to begin working at home. Lets explore the top six reasons to pursue a home based career, and hopefully help you to decide if working at home is right for you.
Reason #1 - You need extra money. Whether you are retired, in college, unemployed, a stay at home mom, or simply would like to make some extra cash, almost anyone can work from home and start making money online. Even those working full-time can supplement their income by donating a few hours outside of work.
Well then, another day passed and I was able to meet some great people and contacts! The more you attend these types of events the more you will see some familiar faces. It is always a nice thing to see someone you know when you are at an event because you never know who they might be able to introduce you to or how much they will be able to help you in your business. Its not who you know, but who knows YOU. I was fortunate to meet Simon Leung at WIME, the adwords guy. He is more of a friend/mentor now than he is this “guru” image that I had of him. I talk to him via phone or messenger daily, not just about business but about how he is doing and I get to see his kid side! Funny, we grew up in the same area. Things like this are a dime a dozen and you can’t meet people if you are stuck at home sitting in front of your computer. This also shows that I am serious about my business, that I am out and about improving myself in my industry. So I encourage anyone who wants to get into this industry of “make money online” to get to an event before the year is over.
I am not sure of anyone has heard of Jermaine Griggs, but he definitely has the new age of marketing in his blood. He has the most energetic personality and can light up a stage. Not only is he a great marketer but a great person and was so willing to help. I believe he has his launch out coming this Tuesday the 23rd called “nittygrittymarketing”. Also if you are interested in promoting his new membership site you can go here.
Also attending the event, for the first time in the United States, was Ewen Chia the largest known super affiliate. I was honored and extremely nervous to meet him in person that I almost did not approach him! Needless to say I did approach him numerous times to take pictures and I got a video interview with him revealing a great tactic that people can use for adwords and list building. When I get the video edited I will post it for you guys.
Below are some of the shots I was able to take while here in Anaheim, Ca.

Of course, I had to get a shot with Russell. It was awesome how he remembered who I was and offered to let me interview him but time restricted me! He told a huge secret to the event audience that I may reveal later.
It is in regards to how he was able to gather the content for Dotcomsecrets! Lets just say it was not his, he just presented in a way people can understand with updated tactics/strategies.

We all know Gary Ambrose (the top photo) and his success with his List Building business. I have made my first dollar online with his system, ListBandit. All I do is find great products to promote, send out a mailing and the sales just come. Seriously, it is that easy.

Now, the picture above, is Ewen Chia and I. This was his first time in the US and his first experience was getting lost! He told me that he got lost down the highway heading toward the hotel, he said he forgot his gps! Heck, I would get lost in Singapore.
