World Internet Main Event - Part1 - My Mindset

The World Internet Main Event

I am not sure if anyone has ever been to a “marketing event” before but I must say that if you plan on getting into this type of business, it is a must that you attend at least one in your life. The motivational level is so high that you feel you can achieve anything when you leave, not to mention all the people you will meet. In about 7 weeks or so, the World Internet Main Event will be held here in

San Francisco at the Airport Marriot. I am not sure if the owners have even put the tickets on sale yet. By the time I post this, I’m sure that they will be. I DO know that I got my ticket through a special link for $200 off for being a customer of Harris Fellman. He is giving up his commissions for tickets and giving people that can’t afford the higher price a sporting chance to invest to attend this event.Visit HERE to check out what this event is all about, types of bonuses offered, see who the highest authorities will be speaking and most of all what you will LEARN. Make sure you read the entire webpage from beginning to end, even if you do not attend the event. Remember that attending something like this with like minded people will only enhance your education and bring more credibility to you as a serious internet entrepreneur or entreprenuese. Of course, I will be there and posting daily what I have learned and my experiences to go along with that. So for those of you that do not attend this, make sure you subscribe to my RSS feed to get that information.

My Mindset I have been online for a year now trying to do whatever it is that these gurus do to make that much in a month in such a short period of time. I realized that you can’t make money like that unless you get and understand the fundamentals of owning your own internet business. There is no possible way for me, realistically, to do this on my own. I need to be around like minded people who are interested in the same type of businesses that I want to pursue. There will be a point in your education that you will have to say to yourself that, it’s time to further myself and cross that line of just sitting in your room learning and buying every pretty new product out there to stepping out and start from the beginning. Yes, I make some money on the net doing only affiliate marketing and article marketing. That’s it. I want to learn the basics of every aspect of the internet business world and blogging not just internet marketing. For those of you spending all that money on the latest greatest things, stop. Do some soul searching as to what exactly you want to accomplish with your endeavors. Research your passions and interests, look into your past, reveal your skills from your current or past employments and start writing about them. Learn to Blog. I too went through a period of failure and soul searching… The Focus

Soon as I focused on what exactly I wanted to accomplish, I started to make money. That focus could have been to get my website built, to brainstorm a domain name, finding keywords, or getting my autoresponder set up. Make sure you find those past products or software products that you just had to have and could not resist that sales letter, and write a review on it. Get them out and study them, all those products DO have some winning nugget that you can use and apply to where you are at in your business.

I will say that you need to have the patience and mindset for this type of business. I have had many late nights and frustration filled days that made me want to just give up and forget this. I always used to think that all the real money makers in marketing who started were back in the year 2000 and that they were going to be the only ones that always will be the money makers. Not true. There are still so many ways to earn money online and niches out there that are untapped and ready to be found. You don’t have to invent the next best thing, just make what is already working better and make it unique. I know, it is easier said than done. Of course, the best way to start is with affiliate marketing. We all have to start somewhere and make our presence online. You must find someone that you are able to learn from, or a program that you can get started with. That is very important. To find that one program, person or product that will change your mindset for this business. Learn how to manage your time and learn how to budget your money, buying only the tools and information that will help you along the way. Do not get side tracked buy those quick money making schemes or those begin your online business in 30 days, type products. I have personally been there and done that and I have wasted too much money. I will not knock all of them, because there were some with some valuable information but never enough to get you started. They peak your interest, then leave you hanging. No matter how you look at it, you have to start at the bottom and work your way up. The hardest part is taking that first step and getting started.

3 Reasons Why Adsense Is Essential For Content Sites: Part 5

To know why Adsense is essential for your content sites is to know first how this works.

The concept is really simple, if you think about it. The publisher or the webmaster inserts a java script into a certain website. Each time the page is accessed, the java script will pull advertisements from the Adsense program. The ads that are targeted should therefore be related to the content that is contained on the web page serving the ad. If a visitor clicks on an advertisement, the webmaster serving the ad earns a portion of the money that the advertiser is paying the search engine for the click.

The search engine is the one handling all the tracking and payments, providing an easy way for webmasters to display content-sensitive and targeted ads without having the hassle to solicit advertisers, collect funds, monitor the clicks and statistics which could be a time-consuming task in itself. It seems that there is never a shortage of advertisers in the program from which the search engine pulls the Adsense ads. Also webmasters are less concerned by the lack of information search engines are providing and are more focused in making cash from these search engines.

The first reason why Adsense is essential for content sites is because it already has come a long way in understanding the needs of publishers and webmasters. Together with its continuous progression is the appearance of more advanced system that allows full ad customization. Webmasters are given the chance to choose from many different types of text ad formats to better complement their website and fit their webpage layout.

The different formatting enables the site owners the possibility of more click through from visitors who may or may not be aware of what they are clicking on. It can also appeal to the people visiting thus make them take that next step of looking up what it is all about. This way the people behind the Adsense will get their content read and making profit in the process.

The second reason is the ability of the Adsense publishers to track not only how their sites are progressing but also the earnings based on the webmaster-defined channels. The recent improvements in the search engines gives webmasters the capability to monitor how their ads are performing using customizable reports that has the capacity to detail page impressions, clicks and click-through rates. Webmasters and publishers can now track specific ad formats, colors and pages within a website. Trends are also easily spotted.

With the real-time reporting at hand, the effectiveness of the changes made will be assessed quickly. There would be time to sort out the contents that people are making the most clicks on. The ever-changing demands would be met while generating cash for the webmasters and publishers. The more flexible tools are also allowing webmasters to group web pages by URL, domain, ad type or category, which will provide them some accurate insight on which pages, ads and domains are performing best.

The last and final reason is that the advertisers have realized the benefits associated having their ads served on targeted websites. Thus increasing the possibility that a prospective web surfer will have an interest in their product and services. All because of the content and its constant maintenance. As opposed to those who are no using Adsense in their sites, they are given the option of having other people do their content for them, giving them the benefit of having successful and money-generating web sites.

5 Reasons Why Blogging is the New Internet Marketing Tool

Blogging is a concept that started in late 90s. It used to be a way to comment an existing webpage, an opportunity for visitors and readers to react or voice out one’s opinion on the said page. What started as a single-sentence commentary has evolved into pages of personal take on just about anything and everything under the sun. As it continues to move forward, online advertising has tapped into the blog’s potential.

5 reasons why you should use blogging as an Internet marketing tool.

  1. Blogging is simple. The simplest way to get your piece on the net is through blogging. No skills are necessary… an average adult can read and type, or at least click a mouse. It’s like having a virtual piece of paper and you just write your ideas, experiences, new products, and hope that the truth behind your articles comes out and entice your reader to also try your product. If you have a PC and an Internet connection (who doesn’t?) then you can blog and advertise.
  2. Blogging is authentic. In this day and age where advertising saturate our lives, we question the credibility of promoters’ claims. However, in blogs, real people share their real-life experiences, unscathed by paid advertising. Reading blogs about first-hand product use is like talking to people about their first-hand experience. You definitely want to buy a tried and tested product.
  3. Blogging is free. Because blogging is yet to be proven as a mainstream online advertising media, most sites see it as something to augment current marketing tools and thus offer it for free. Any opportunity for free webtime is definitely a bonus especially to businesses that are starting up. Needless to say, paid blog pages can generate more income for your seriously growing business.
  4. Blogging builds credibility. As you get more and more into writing your experiences on a particular product or industry, your readers come to realize that they can depend on your posts for their own information needs. As such, you become an expert on it; as a consequence, more readers visit your site and more bloggers link to your blogs. As companies and professional organizations notice the growth of your readership base, they may soon get in touch with you for advertising on your blog page, or make you an affiliate, which pays for every referral generated from your blog site.
  5. Blogging builds your market. Unless you are a Hollywood star, chances are, only your Mom reads your posts. Mom has a lot of friends, so she lets her friends know how interesting your blog site is. But you need not depend on Mom to increase your readership base.

Look into the following ways to build your market through blogging:

  • By using your e-mail. Today, blogging is overcoming the e-mail’s popularity in quickly and effectively reaching and expanding a market. In this age of speed and quick access, logging in and downloading e-mail is simply taking longer than clicking into a blog site. Let them explore your site by using a short e-mail message as teaser to your blog site. If your e-mail is on an entirely different subject, use your e-mail signature to give a link to the site.
  • By using subscription. An easy way to get your readers e-mail is to give them an opportunity to subscribe to your blogsite. Keep some exclusive information for your subscribers to entice readers to subscribe and give their e-mail address. Just be responsible in using their e-mail address, as the last thing you want is a comment on your blog that you are a spammer.
  • By understanding your readers. Conduct a simple survey for your readers to understand their profile and advertising preferences. Ask consumers to give you feedback on a post, an ad link, or a trial that you shared. In this way, it is like interviewing your readers without the commitment and intrusion of a face-to-face interview.
  • By joining a blog network –A network of blogs maybe a collection of blog sites that share the same industry, interest, readership base, payment mode, etc. Consumers find credibility and convenience in clicking one link to several real bloggers about a single subject. Clearly, more bloggers are better than one.
  • By using RSS. RSS is the fastest growing technology on the Internet today. As such, having RSS feeds to your blog is definitely another means of generating awareness for your readership base. Having a variety of feeds can add interest to your blog site.

Give your business a boost by effectively using blogging as an Internet marketing tool.
